My digital philosophy
Custom photography can bring memories and joy to a family for years to come. Newtown Photography understands. You shouldn’t have to agonize over 5×7 vs 8×10. You should have freedom to choose whatever images you desire. Imagine being able to come back to your DVD years later and see something you didn’t even realize you wanted to remember? This is why instead of prints, we provide digital negatives on DVD. Newtown also gives you details on how and where to print your images, so the images are always available whenever you need them, or more prints.
Your session with will be fun, relaxed and natural. We’ll help you let your inner child out so that the images are real, spontaneous and fresh. From coordinating your session day, to your adventures at the session itself, the experience is customized just for you. When you invest in a session you deserve full focus and attention toward making sure you get the kind of images you have pictured in your heart. Hopefully, a few extra surprises too.
Sessions can last anywhere from 1-4 hours. They are ideal for newborns, babies, families, couples, kids – just about anyone.
While we’re always brainstorming fresh ideas, our sessions usually fall into one or a combination of the following categories:
Sessions at home tend to be more intimate, relaxed, and more personal. They’re the perfect setting for all kinds of sessions, but especially ideal for families with babies or toddlers (this is the only location option for newborns). Don’t fret – your home doesn’t have to look like a Pottery Barn catalog – in fact, it shouldn’t! Your home should reflect you and your loved ones. You may be surprised with what we can do at home!
Urban and/or Downtown Toronto
I love weaving the vibe of The GTA & Durham Region into family photo sessions and urban locations work great for seniors, families with older children, couples and engagements, or those that want their images to have a funky, hip flare. Urban doesn’t necessarily have to mean grungy: think texture, color, and architecture.
Date, Time, What to Wear, Etc.
Don’t worry – once you book your session, I will provide plenty of information on how to prepare, what to wear, etc. We’ll set up the session date, time, and location together and discuss just how we can translate your vision into reality.
If you have any more questions about the sessions that aren’t answered here, please don’t hesitate to get in touch, and I’ll do my best to answer your queries.
